Welcome

This is Chloe Walker

Chloe Walker is a freelance writer living in Melbourne, Australia.

With five years of experience on the independent media circuit, Chloe takes pride in delivering clean, crisp copy on time and to length. Nothing excites her more than a tight deadline or word limit.

Chloe’s features, reviews and interviews have appeared in magazines such as Arts in the City, Beat, Concierge, lip and The Pun, and on Vibewire.net and Arts Hub. An ex-student media hack, Chloe has experienced the other side of the editorial desk and in 2005 was Editor in Chief of Crossfire magazine at Deakin University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts majoring in Professional Writing and Editing.

Fascinated by the quirky things in life, Chloe is great at snuffling out an offbeat story and tends to inject her writing with humour even when she doesn’t mean to. Some of the highlights of her writing career have been interviewing a bubble artist, discussing hard rubbish with a fellow obsessive collector, and reminiscing about watching her family illegally throw her grandfather’s ashes from a six-seater plane. Three times.

Samples of Chloe’s writing can be found on the folio page. She can be contacted by email at chloe [dot] n [dot] w [at] gmail [dot] com.
